Amazon is seeking an experienced sourcing manager to partner with Software suppliers (OEMs & VARs), internal business owners, and key stake holders to facilitate software acquisition and create operational value for Amazon's IT Services (ITS).
This role is responsible to drive cost-out, mitigate risk, assist in vendor & product consolidation strategies, and complete key sourcing projects.
Operate strategically to standardize global software sourcing and procurement processes, operational tools, operating standards, and value stream mapping.
This team has total ownership of all Global Sourcing and Procurement of software titles.
This organization will manage in parallel strategic long-term software decision making while keeping control of tactical processing, and efficiency focused with growth expectations into tools development, automation, scale and increased vendor management opportunities.

San Jose, CRI
- Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- LEAN, ITIL, or Six Sigma experience.
- Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.
- Working experience analyzing quantitatively, problem-solve, support scope of requirements and prioritize.
- Proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills.
- Experience building and leading highly effective world class teams.
- Knowledge of software asset management tooling.

- Software sourcing/procurement experience.
