**Your Role and Responsibilities**
This role is responsible for the operations management of Software Development.
This may include revenue, expense control, profit performance, management of the processes that include IPD, quality assurance, business controls and procedures, client satisfaction deployment and ratings, and plan administration.
They may develop and administer development expense and support (cost) budgets.
In depth operational and administrative knowledge is required in the day to day activities.
They may be measured on budget attainment, client satisfaction and satisfactory audits.

Generally controls own work priorities and methods requiring tradeoffs.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 2+ years experience with managing team of developers working on operations and automation.
- Ability to multi-task and solve operation issues prior to and during customer impacting events / incidents.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including having attention to details, to communicate observations and ideas for diagnosing and preventing issues or improving SRE processes to shorten diagnosis and resolution.
- Ability to observe operational support techniques and make improvements to SRE processes.
- Capable to work in a Global, multicultural, and diverse environment.
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Managing customer escalations
- Troubleshooting in production systems
- DevOps or SRE
- Source and project control (GitHub Enterprise, ZenHub, Jira) - hands-on
- Automation using Go, Python, C, C++, Ansible or Shell scripting
- Monitoring and logging tools (Nagios, QRadar, New Relic, sysdig, logDNA)
- Continuous Integration platforms (Jenkins, Terraform, TeamCity, Travis CI)
- Load balancing, geo routing, and proxying
- Networking - Firewalls and Load Balancing (Vyatta, StrongSwan)
- NoSQL databases, key-stores and other data-structure solutions (MongoDB, Redis)
