**Location**:San Jose, Costa Rica.
**Type of contract**: Indefinite
We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Lawyer to join our team in San Jose as a Country Manager.
In this challenging role you will be leading a small team of lawyers and accountants (approx.
10 team members) located both within the country and aboard; engaging with clients, including planning, coordination, communication, administration and the delivery of services to our clients.
As a very organized and structured person, with fluent English and great communication skills you will be responsible for overseeing day to day operational activities, including the delivery of legal and accounting services, client invoicing and client collections.
You will have the key responsibility to ensure that all teams are delivering for our clients and that client administration and planning is top notch
In this role you will be a key member of the group leadership team and will be expected to lead, plan, coordinate, delegate and communicate.
To be successful in this role, you must be very organized, be a natural leader, be very hard working, can delegate and have fantastic communication skills (both in person and online).
Key to be successful in this role: Degree qualified lawyer, Fluent English, Experience leading teams, Great interpersonal skills and Ambitious
We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role and can start delivering from day one
You must have extensive experience leading teams to be successful in this role.

- Degree Qualified Lawyer
- 8+ years professional working experience
- Advanced to Fluent English (MINIMUM C1)
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Extensive Client Facing Experience
- Team Management Experience
- Experience coordinating service delivery
- Great and comfortable with multi-tasking
- Proactive Problem Solver
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must enjoy working within a team environment
**What are the desirable requirements?

- Business Process Improvement experience (i.e.
LEAN or SixSigma)
- Project Management experience
- Experience with other Latin American Jurisdictions
- Corporate law Knowledge
- Labor law knowledge
- Good with numbers
