**A Day in the Life**
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
- Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
- Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
- Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
- Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
- Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
- Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication Skills.
- Functional Skills: Machining and Manufacturing Technologies, Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience

**Nice to Have**
- Previous experience in a medical device manufacturing environment with knowledge of FDA regulations is desirable.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Global and Local policies and procedures relevant to Quality which includes compliance & regulatory, control for manufacturing Medical Devices
- Experience improving and OPEX processes and/or implementing new planning and tools and processes.
- Medical Device Knowledge - Packaging / Sterilization / Parts Cleaning / Quality / Supply Chain / CAPA's / High Value Material Recycling Management / Warehouse Management
- Business Analysis - Strategic Business (Production) Planning - Cost Accounting - AOP - Sales & Marketing - Sourcing / Material Management - Operations - Facilities & Maintenance - Financial Reporting - Logistics - Exceptional Working Relationships - Cross Functional Team Leadership - Cycle Count Accuracy - Quality Oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in Spanish.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
- APICS, Lean Sigma, Power BI, SAP (desired).
- Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects.
