Philips Costa Rica has an exciting opportunity to join our Manufacturing Engineering Group within Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGT-D) as a Manufacturing Project Manager.
In this role, you are a key player in producing medical devices that help doctors decide on critical life-saving procedures for patients around the globe, specifically by leading and supporting engineers with key project implementations.
We are seeking a project manager for our pressure wires sustaining manufacturing engineering group.
This position will lead project prioritization, resourcing, implementation, and delivery with cross functional teams.
**Project Management**
- Experienced in the work of project management with the ability to teach others how to: initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control projects through all phases, providing guidance to ensure expected outcome is delivered.
- Passionate about project management processes, and its use to deliver outcomes.
- Able to help the team prioritize: focusing on the most impactful deliverables, and distributing the work among the team to maximize growth opportunities and allow people to do what they do best every day
- Able to help teammates plan their work in Agile-type sprints to deliver results predictably on time both for minor tasks and longer projects
- Sets clear expectations and ensures the team has the resources needed to achieve their goals
- Removes roadblocks and helps teams get unstuck
- Organized and detail oriented to keep track of the many requests and ensure follow up.

- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills (in Spanish and English).
- Able to communicate to all levels of the organization both up and down, clearly, and simply, summarizing critical information.

**Requirements**:

- Typical experience required is 5 years as an Engineer/Project Management in a related field, 1-2 years of Project Management leadership.
- Excellent English Skills are necessary.
- Four-year technical degree required, preferably in Engineering or Science
- Proven Project Management skills is required.
**Preferred**
- Medical Device experience preferred
- PM Certifications (CAPM, PMP, Agile, Scrum, Product Owner, etc ) is desirable.
