We are going through major transformation from product to solutions/SaaS offers and licensing model transition from Perpetual to Subscription & SaaS
The Pricing Programs Team (part of the Pricing & Monetization team) plays a key role in VMware's transformation.
This team is responsible for running and managing different Vmware Pricing Programs which offer the best way to save money and time when buying VMware products and Services.
You will lead a team of Business Analysts who act as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver the best experience to internal stakeholders and end customers in partnership with cross functional Teams.
You are a dynamic self-motivated and driven individual with a SaaS mindset who likes to solution fast paced business challenges and drive transformational change.

**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

- Within 30 days of employment familiarize with end-to-end Products & Services offered by VMware and thoroughly understand all the VMware Purchasing Programs in detail.
Be a part of an experienced and global management team.
Forge productive relationships with your stakeholders to get outside-in perspectives on challenges that need attention and priority.
- Within 90 days of employment you will be expected to build your knowledge across cross functional areas of our team's scope and purpose.
Be able to provide direction to your team and orchestrate the key engagements with our business partners and stakeholders.
You will own and deliver strategic priorities for the company.
Stabilize Pricing Programs operations and start contributing productively by delivering various time-based deliverables with expected quality working closely with your peer and senior leaders.
Be an effective spokesperson and champion for the Pricing programs team; Promote a culture oriented towards quality and customer success.
Develop intimate knowledge of various pricing programs deliverables.
- Within 180 days you will be able to better understand our operational execution capabilities, Pricing Strategies & philosophy, as well as how VMware executes deals and what we offer to our customers.
Drive continuous improvements to automate manual processes, proactively fix recurring customer issues, & improve customer experience
- Within 12 months you will be expected to drive multiple strategic initiatives, Projects along with running day to day Operations (KTLOs) by collaborating with cross functional teams.
Promote a culture of growth mindset and challenge the status quo, within your team and the business.

- Manage a team of Business analysts, setting objectives and reviewing performances, providing guidance and support and ensuring alignment to team and broader organization goals
- Build and motivate a diverse team with different levels and types of experiences.
Develop, coach, mentor these highly talented team members to enhance and expand their vision and capabilities.
- Responsible for maintaining focus and delivery on near-term improvements while working on longer term strategy and capabilities
- Hands on experience in Pricing / Monetization, Commerce, SaaS Ops in an Enterprise Software business or a Technology company
- Demonstrated experience (at least 2 years) of managing teams in the past
- Ability to thrive and guide the team in demanding environments that impose new challenges frequently
- Demonstrate ability to deal with ambiguity and be able to manage crucial conversations
- Good understanding of software business models like perpetual, SaaS and subscription
- Demonstrate ability to learn business processes quickly
- Demonstrate Pro-active problem-solving ability
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to develop trust and influence others
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in Native SaaS domain would be an added advantage
- Working experience on platforms like Oracle EBS, SAP, Salesforce and Informatica would be an added advantage
- Exposure to enterprise systems like pricing, CPQ, Billing, Order Management, SFDC, Oracle/SAP ERP etc.
