**About the Role**

As the COO of LATAM, you will be the key driver behind our ambitious growth plans in the region.
Your primary objective will be establishing and quickly scaling our AI Development Center, the central hub for our engineering and scientific talent.
Simultaneously, you will be responsible for building out our regional commercial operations, encompassing sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success, with a steadfast commitment to driving revenue and market share.
Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and executing a compelling go-to-market strategy for Latin America to differentiate Convertible and establish a strong regional presence.
- Building and leading a high-performing team of business and technical professionals, cultivating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
- Overseeing the rapid growth and success of our AI Development Center, ensuring it becomes a magnet for top talent and a source of innovative AI solutions.
- Driving revenue growth and market share through effective sales and business development efforts, including establishing strategic partnerships and alliances.
- Ensuring operational excellence across all aspects of our LATAM business, leveraging best practices, technology, and data-driven insights to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Collaborating closely with our global leadership team to align regional strategies and initiatives with overall company goals and priorities while advocating for the unique needs and opportunities of the Latin American market.
- Serving as a key representative of Convertible in Latin America, participating in industry events, media opportunities, and important customer and partner engagements.
To excel in this role, you should bring:

- A proven leadership and successful track record in driving business growth and operational excellence in the technology industry, ideally with experience in AI or related emerging technologies.
- Deep knowledge of the Latin American business landscape, including market trends, customer needs, and regulatory considerations, and the ability to navigate them effectively.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a talent for building, inspiring, and empowering high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, from customers and partners to internal teams and executive leadership.
- A solid understanding of the technical aspects of AI and related technologies, enabling you to effectively bridge the gap between business and technical teams and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with Portuguese being a strong plus.
