A Solution Area Specialist for Azure discovers and qualifies new Application Transformation and/or Modernization projects and opportunities for Azure consumption; drives value from usage of Azure with existing customers by including the use of Advanced Workloads.
Identifies market and customer needs and collaborates with internal teams to propose solutions to meet those needs.
Orchestrates projects across multiple stakeholder groups including partners.
Collects and communicates feedback internally to address partner gaps and make joint proposals.
Positions Microsoft solutions in competitive landscape through research and collaboration.
Supports business planning for territory.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the New Era of AI discussion with customers across the Azure services portfolio
- Collaborate with Top SMC Partners from territory planning to migrate execution targeting WS/SQL associated accounts; demonstrate the value prop to customers and Azure Benefits to motivate customer towards Azure migration
- Serve as overall Analytics & Data Modernization sales lead, actively collaborating with Infra, Apps and Security colleagues, and maintain a qualified committed consumption pipeline for FY24 Azure Data & AI sales priorities.
- Proactively engage with customers on Analytics conversations; especially for the Power BI & Synapse base Power BI and Fabric a complete analytics and BI solution
- Leverage AI to unlock new demand with customer, fully utilize the multi-customer EBCs, partner workshops, and TS hands-ons to educate, engage, and support customers to innovate
- Deliver solution business value demonstrations, Whiteboarding, to gain customer commitment
- Engage with Azure TS for technical demos and blockers for opportunities with > $3.5k monthly ACR upside
- Leverage Customer Skilling Programs to educate and empower your customers to maximize and accelerate ACR
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
- OR 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
