The L1 Systems Engineer Independently provides full design, configuration, and support for common systems infrastructure (HW and SW), including network and security settings, for both on-premises and cloud implementations.
Will assists senior technicians in design, configuration, development, and support of widely shared, complex, and critical infrastructure.
Uses and up(dates automated delivery tools such as Teraform.
Evaluates, tests, and installs complex security patches and bug fixes as needed.
Ensures appropriate failover solutions are implemented and tested to meet business continuity needs.
Ensures backout plans are created and executable in the event of an implementation problem.
Continually updates skillset and stays abreast of technologies trends and developments.
May also provide technical guidance to Associate System Engineers.

- Creates and maintains technical documentation, asset inventories and configuration information.

- Analyzes vendor invoices for accuracy, maintains inventory and orders equipment **(5%)**:

**What We're Looking For**:

- 3+ Years of relevant work experience.
- Associate Degree with Systems Engineering or Related field of study required.
- Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
- Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
- Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
- Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
- Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
- Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
- Able to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.
- Able to quickly learn new systems and technology.
**Other Education / Certifications**:

- VMWare VCP-DCV, MCSA: Windows Server 2012/2016, Azure Associate, VCSA, ITIL Foundation, LPIC1,
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
- Demonstrate commitment to task in a highly competitive sales environment.
- Ability to overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers.
- Possess solid business sense and the ability to profile likely business and technology decision makers.
- Professional and polished communication skills both verbal and written.
- Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
