Your ‘day to day’

The Consumer Insights & Analytics Manager will support PMI in the CARICAM sub-cluster, which is part of the Americas region in achieving business results, by leading quantitative and qualitative analysis, combining tools such as NPS, transactional data, consumer behaviour, retail volume, brand equity, ad-hoc research and so on. This person will work closely with the marketing, commercial and strategy teams, providing insights on the market and consumer, both for conventional cigarettes and the new categories.

The Consumer Insights & Analytics Manager will support PMI in the CARICAM sub-cluster, which is part of the Americas region in achieving business results by:

- This person will be responsible for the Consumer Insights for the category of Smoke-Free products and combustible cigarettes for the CARICAM Market sub-cluster. S/he will discuss briefings with our internal stakeholders in Marketing and Sales and conduct qualitative and quantitative research projects to support decision making. The job includes understanding business needs, planning for new projects, working with agencies to conduct the projects and presenting the results.
- Besides, this person will use all sources of information available to provide data and consumer-centred recommendations, connecting the dots of different perspectives to answer business questions. It is expected that the analysis and research conducted have a clear impact on the business contributing to our growth and success as a business.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research projects what includes discussing the briefing with our internal stakeholders, plan for new projects, define the questionnaire, hire an agency to conduct the project, analyze the results, write a report in English and present the results.
- Support business partners with insights, including NPS, new products, branding, performance measurement and execution excellence.
- Participate in strategic meetings bringing the consumer voice and information to the table to make decisions more data driven.
- Presenting analysis in English to senior stakeholders and being able to have a business discussions on the implications of the results, bringing clear and actionable recommendations on what we should do and change to grow market share and be more successful as a business.
- Partner with market research agencies for proposals for new projects and work on the bidding process together with procurement.
- Be a strong voice in the table to bring the data and numbers to the discussion, making the discussion richer and more impactful.
- Work with Marketing, Sales and Finance teams to lead priority research projects based on consumer, category and commercial behaviour.
- Partner with a global network of PMI market researchers and external agencies to ensure harmonization of the tools we use.

Who we’re looking for
- 11+ years of experience in Market Research across both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, ad hoc and systematic.
- Proven research project management experience.
- Fluent spoken and written English a must.
- Be comfortable extracting insights from quantitative data, qualitative research, 'connecting the dots' across multiple data sources and making business recommendations.
- Highly collaborative and independent individual with strong communication skills to make consumer insights relevant for different audiences in English.
- Organization savvy to work efficiently and identify opportunities to contribute within the Local, Regional & Global Research Cluster.
