The HRSS Compensation & Benefits T&A Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.
This is a management role reporting into the HRSS TR Head. The jobholder will be responsible for ensuring the effective Comp. & Ben. (C&B) and Time and Absence This operations leader manages a dedicated team in Latam and a vendor.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Ensuring accurate and timely Comp. & Ben. Administration across different countries.
- The individual will be responsible for centralization of Time and Absence loading in Workday and its data integrity and reporting.
- Acting as the departmental representative both internally and externally for Citi.
- Liaising with HR, Global C&B, Business Units Employees, Direct Managers and Management on escalations.
- Possible escalation point for senior expats in the Mobility domain
- Perform analysis in future scope and expansion of team or productivity initiatives
- Ensure management of processes within stipulated policies per country and timely delivery of time-sensitive services
- Responsible for ensuring delivery of YE CitiComp Process (Baseline Administration/Checks, Ad hoc reporting/Analysis).
- Ensures that the processes are performed in accordance with set procedures and in compliance with the corporate governance
- Manages and coaches direct reports within the Comp.& Ben.(C&B) Team; sets one on one or catch up meeting with direct reports and or C & B. team.
- Makes timely and proper escalations for big issues, concerns and incidents.
- Liaising with our vendors on C&B. issues, sets meeting with vendors and other stakeholders, when deemed necessary.
- Provides support for projects as required such as continual improvement and standardization of process, operations and systems.
- Provides monthly reports on the performance of the team.
- Makes quick and right decisions when needed.
- Establishes a robust performance and talent management discipline for C&B. and be the role model for the team members
- Multi-skill team members through job rotation to expand knowledge across the C&B function to eliminate single person dependencies
**Qualifications**:
- English advance
- 5+ years of relevant experience related to compensation and benefits and shared services
- Bachelor university degree complete
- Advance MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
- Written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
**Desirable**:
- Portuguese
- Masters or MBA preferred
- Project Management experience desired
- Education background related to Business Administration, Accounting or related fields
- Comprehensive and working knowledge of Human Resources systems
- Exposure with investment banking industry compensation process and activities an advantage
