Industry Analysis Director

The goal of the LATAM Strategic Insights & Analysis team is to analyze the dynamics of the Beverage Industry and how The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) brands perform with this Industry to generate actionable insights that accelerate our business in LATAM.
As an Industry Analysis Director you will be leading a team responsible of sizing and forecasting the beverage Industry across all the thirty-three LATAM countries, providing a deep understanding of different categories and TCCC market share performance and producing strategic recommendations.
**What You’ll Do for **Us**:
- Size the Beverage Industry in each LATAM country and for each type of beverage category. This entails producing the most accurate reproduction of the market reality by combining multiple data sources such as internal data, financial reporting and providers data (Nielsen, Global Data, Euromonitor, etc).
- Analyze the different data sources to understand the drivers behind industry trends and TCCC share of market performance, closely collaborating with other, country Strategy teams and operations teams.
- Develop fact-based Industry forecast models, partnering with Data & Analytics teams to create predictive models.
- Be able to clearly translate data into insights and bring clear recommendations to business leaders. Support insights delivery with engaging storytelling including powerful narratives and visualizations.
- Be responsible for Industry and TCCC share results and future projections support annual business planning process, including owning the submission in official reporting systems.
- Partner with agencies and Data & Analytics teams to ensure continuous improvement of the industry data and the enhancement of reporting and simulation tools.
As a people leader the role will be also accountable of:
- Ensuring team effectiveness across the organization by bringing clarity on objectives, removing obstacles to drive team performance and engagement.
- Build strong enterprise leadership to facilitate cross-functional collaboration. with other Strategy/Insights teams
- Foster a culture of bold and constructive discontent and develop diverse talent to continuously raise the bar.
**Qualifications & **Requirements**:
- 8+ years of experience in Strategic/Financial/Commercial planning, desirable in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies.
- Previous experience on Industry/Market analysis and forecasting, including knowledge of predictive analytics such as time series analysis, regression models or scenario analysis.
- Previous experience leading a team.
- Proven trajectory collaborating and influencing multifunctional peers.
- Consultancy or project management experience as a plus.
Required mastery of:
- Problem framing and problem-solving capabilities.
- Understanding of the different sources of data required to drive choices and solutions to the business.
- Intermediate to advance analytics foundations to read, interpret and challenge different analytical tools.
- Ability to converge contextual data from multiple countries into an OU-specific perspective without losing the power of local insights.
- Synthesis and storytelling to translate data and insights into powerful business stories.
- Effective stakeholder and relationship management including negotiation and influence skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity.
