**Digital Dental Restorative Treatment Designer** for both our Belen and La Lima, offices. This exciting new role would be part of a culture that is helping to improve lives every day through digital dentistry. The
**Digital Dental Restorative Treatment Designer** should be responsible for designing digital dental restorative treatments using Align Technology’s proprietary CAD dental design software from digitally scanned files of patients from our customers (General Practitioners Dentists). The employee will receive specific state-of-the-art training, from the preparation of the virtual impressions to full restorative set up. The employee should demonstrate a strong ability to understand dental and restorative clinical concepts and be technologically savvy. This role will be expected to collaborate with other functions including quality leads, process engineering, continuous improvement, etc... This role will be part of Align Technology goal to deliver the next generation of digital restorative treatment which are mínimally invasive and end-to-end comprehensive to our customers. **In this role, you will**
- Digital Impressions: Set up patient digital impressions of both teeth and oral structures using an intraoral scanner or other digital impression systems.
- CAD/CAM Design: Utilize computer-aided design [CAD] software to create digital models and designs for dental restorations such as crowns, bridges, veneers, and dentures.
- Restoration Design: Interpret dental prescriptions and patient records to design custom dental restorations that meet the patient's aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Materials Selection: Assists customer on the appropriate materials for dental restorations, considering factors such as strength, durability, aesthetics, and biocompatibility.
- Milling and 3D Printing: Make sure the digital designs fit quatliy standards to be operationalized for milling machines or 3D printers to fabricate dental restorations based on the digital designs, ensuring precision and accuracy in the manufacturing process.
- Quality Control: Inspect and evaluate the quality of finished digital models for restorations to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards, making any necessary adjustments or modifications.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with dentists, prosthodontists, and other dental professionals to discuss case details, provide technical expertise, and ensure that the final restorations meet the patient's expectations.
- Additionally, a digital dental restorative designer should stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the field to continually improve their skills and provide high-quality dental restorations.

**In this role, you’ll need **

- High School Diploma
- 0-2 years of related experience
- Proficiency in English (B2+)
