The Manager, Workday Release Management is a Global role that reports to the Director, Workday Release and Functional Testing under the GBS HR, Colleague Services Solutions.

This position is a globally impacting role and is responsible for the overall Pfizer Release Management strategy, providing support of both Pfizer releases and bi-annual Workday Releases, as well as overseeing the general administration of Workday and the Pfizer Change Request workspace. The role will also support compliance-related activities as the owner of the SOPs related to the Change Request processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Provide project management support for bi-annual Workday and Pfizer releases
- Manage and communicate a comprehensive Tenant management strategy for Workday.
- Responsible for the overall management and execution of the Change Request process, including implementing continuous improvement enhancements to the Change Request workspace
- Partner closely with all teams within GBS Colleague Services to address ongoing changes to the Release Planning and release processes and tools, including close coordination with the Colleague Services Enablement and Digital teams on all large releases.
- Conducts reviews of Workday cases and leads overall incident management activities
- Participate in the annual Pfizer systems audit, including working closely with the Compliance team to ensure process adherence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong functional understanding of the Workday solution and Software-as-a-Service environment
- Proven analytical, organizational, project management, problem-solving and issue-resolution skills in a global cross-functional team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 5+ years project management and strategic planning experience, demonstrated experience managing cross-border and cross-functional projects
- At least 2 years working in the Workday infrastructure doing configuration, adoption planning, release management, quality assurance testing or integrations work
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and partnering skills with both technical and functional end users.
- Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Capacity to work independently and operate in a fast-paced environment as part of a Global Team.
- Experience with SOX and Compliance audits
- Cross-HR functional knowledge preferred e.g. HR administration, benefits and compensation, staffing, talent, HRIS, Reporting and Analytics, Compliance, etc.
- Proven ability to deliver results on a cross functional, global basis without regard to official reporting lines
- Ability to operate and deliver results in a matrixed organization, and influence others at more senior levels to engage and deliver where needed
- Ability to make decisions in the absence of full information, and provide appropriate guidance and support to the team
- Strategic orientation to owning and resolving issues; decisiveness and accountability
- Strong understanding of change management principles and ability to naturally integrate the appropriate change management steps into project delivery
- Ability to influence and negotiate without formal direct authority, consultative in approach; diplomatic.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in Workday configuration, adoption planning and release management
