**Marketplace Operations Analyst**

The world is changing fast The accelerated transformation from perpetual to SaaS products has driven the Cloud/Hyperscaler Marketplace business to experience rapid growth. As the Marketplace Operations Analyst, you will play a vital role in the operational efforts for this route to market. This opportunity will allow you to collaborate with cross functional teams and business units across the company to identify, develop, accelerate, and automate processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven person who enjoys working in marketplace business operations

**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**
- Become competent with end-to-end Marketplace Operations rules, guidelines, standard operating procedures, and processes.
- Understand the Hyperscaler Marketplace portfolio of product listings.
- Ownership of Marketplace Addendums for partners interested in transacting in Hyperscaler marketplaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives, decisions, and approval requests/exceptions for deals.
- Support VMware Sales representatives with quotes or questions related to marketplace deals.
- Document requirements, processes, and policies for the marketplace business.

**What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**
- Support daily marketplace operational processes including, reviewing quotes, creating offers, testing, billing, support, etc.
- Creates documentation and enablement materials to help drive awareness of route-to-market operational and process requirements.
- Define strategy initiatives and consult with leadership on operational needs and dependencies.
- Lead meetings with cross-functional teams within the organization to understand requirements, drive consensus on desired outcomes, and eliminate process gaps.
- Work with marketplace providers to continuously learn and understand new technical and operational capabilities.
- Works closely with technical team to define a roadmap of automation capabilities to support marketplace business.
- Communicates with internal executive stakeholders regularly to keep them apprised of successes, market opportunities, business risks, and other relevant topics.
- Track pipeline opportunities, bookings and other telemetry tasks.
- Assists with partner and customer meetings to represent operations functions such as creating and extending private offers.

**What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?**

You will be joining the WWP Marketplace Operations/Acceleration team which is led by Sr. Manager, Richard Ramlal. Richard has a strong background in program management and business operations.

His leadership style focuses on collaboration and creating psychological safety to build a strong team. He believes in building trust, mentoring, coaching, and recognition are keys to key factors for a successful team.

Remote: this role will be remote, based in Costa Rica.
