You will support EFX's comprehensive efforts to detect and respond to emergent cyber-threats. Work with various teams across the organization to support the team of SOC analysts handling all stages within the incident management lifecycle.

What you’ll do
- Effectively communicate troubleshooting findings and remediation strategy to stakeholders including technical staff, executive leadership.
- Perform analysis of complex datasets to produce relevant intelligence products, under the direction of more experienced peers.
- Will competently refine and implement use-case scenarios for new and existing analytical tools as part of daily operational duties, under the direction of more experienced peers.
- Will competently describe, develop and refine scripts for tasks’ automation as part of daily operational duties.
- Collaborate in the quality assurance process of software artifacts developed or maintained by the engineering team.
- Collaborate with the enforcement of appropriate Change Management practices for new and deployed baseline capabilities.
- Support existing solutions and custom systems developed by the engineering team, under the direction of more experienced peers.

What experience you need
- Student of Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering.
- Experience in system testing and use case development.

- Cyber Security Certifications is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to work under stress, tight deadlines and effectively in teams.
- Passionate desire for continuous learning of information security and physical security practices
