We are looking to add to our dynamic, dedicated and talented team with a top-notch Paid Search Strategist with a great work ethic who thrives in organizations that are evolving and leading the way we do marketing.
**Job Summary**:
SmartBug’s Paid Search Strategist bring strong communication skills and business acumen, they also have a proven track record of successfully managing all things paid search, including but not limited to: audits, strategy, execution, and reporting.
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Develop paid search strategies across a variety of platforms including but not limited to, Google, Bing, YouTube
- Work alongside a paid social strategist to develop a broader holistic paid media strateg
- Work alongside a paid social strategist to optimize spend across channels
- Supervise the deployment, budget spend, budget pacing, and optimization of client campaigns executed by a pod of Paid Search Specialists
- Assist in the execution of paid search campaigns as a backup for Specialists
- Translate client’s business goals into measurable advertising objectives and KPI’s
- Assist in the ongoing development of our reporting capabilities and oversee current reporting responsibilities. Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and HubSpot Analytics is a plus
- Assist in the on-going development of our auditing capabilities, and perform account audits for new business opportunities
- Operate as the main client-facing point of contact for your accounts. This includes but is not limited to discovery calls, strategic planning sessions, and reporting calls
- Serve as an internal advisor to other departments (sales, inbound marketing, creative, etc.) who need paid search expertise on new and existing business opportunities
- Understanding how to translate a client’s business goals into measurable advertising objectives and KPI’s
- Staying up to date with the latest paid search best practices and technologies
- B2B paid search experience and knowledge in HubSpot is a plus
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in developing, implementing, and leading paid search strategy for various channels including Google, Bing, YouTube, and other paid search platforms in an agency or in-house position
- B.A. or B.S. degree is required; aligning field preferred
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to organize, communicate and implement social media strategies for multiple clients
- Solid business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with project management systems is preferred; experience with Teamwork is strongly preferred
- Proven relationship-building skills and communication experience
- Basic understanding of digital marketing outside of paid search, including paid social, programmatic media, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Experience working remotely in similar roles is strongly preferred
