**Job Description**:
The Collections Manager performs the following activities but is not limited to

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of collections analysts to ensure SLAs, targets and collections strategies are met/performed as agreed. Responsible for HR activities such as one on ones, Performance issues, team motivation, work balance, etc
- Ensure team meets process compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity
- Monitors the collections strategy to make sure that calls/follow ups are attended and/or performed as expected. Manages capacity vs volumes, identifies and escalates issues affecting performance.
- Escalate and communicate issues to Sr. management as appropriate
- Identifies and implement process improvements opportunities
- Perform ad hoc analyses per management discretion
- Assist on audit requests as required

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
Fluent in English (100%)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company
- Business-level English and Spanish language skills (speaking and writing) - required
- Experience using SAP - desired
- Familiarity with US GAAP - preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience - desired
- Customer Service experience

**Skills**
- Problem solving and analytical skills with a proactive management style to implement new processes
- Knowledge of business processes supported by transaction processing capabilities
Ability to work independently, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Solid communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required
- Ability to build, lead, and manage an effective team of highly qualified and culturally diverse professionals
- Have considerable experience with customer negotiations
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required
- Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
- Demonstrated commitment to education and professional development
Ability to operate independently and remain focused through change or uncertainty
