LATAM Finance Control Sr. Analyst function supports the Firm's Latin America Finance teams by providing advice to country Finance teams on Issue remediation, corrective action plans and managing internal audits. This will involve understanding Finance’s processes, risks and associated controls and working closely with teams to identify risks and control deficiencies. This function will also be Finance’s liaison with Internal Audit and responsible for working with Internal Audit on Finance audits and the issue management lifecycle for countries with centralized Finance control functions.

Responsibilities include:

- Recommend solutions for risk and control problems and action plans, partner with Senior Stakeholders to develop approaches for broader corporate/local issues.
- Responsible for coordinating and facilitating internal audits, business monitoring and continuous auditing. Lead discussions with IA on potential findings, issue management, and escalation process.
- Responsible for coordinating and agreement of the period to be pre-validated for sustainability with Issue owners for Internal Audit and Regulatory issues.
- Review Internal Audit and Regulatory issues wording before opening.
- Support Latam finance functions to identify all applicable stakeholders to participate in issue resolution.
- Establish agreements with IA on CAP artifacts for closure & sustainability.
- Review issues cited in audit reports (internal and external), Monitor execution of corrective action plans through active engagement with Issue owners throughout Issue lifecycle to ensure issues are closed timely and sustainably.
- Internal Audit/Regulatory issues review and challenge for non-centralized countries and finance functions.
- Support Control Metrics improvement.
- Keep abreast of internal policy changes to further identify new key risk areas impactful to current open issues.
- Promotion of a controls culture within the operations division ensuring the escalation of significant risks through control governance channels occurs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Lead Issue Management process, including review of Issues sent to Internal Audit, ORM and Compliance for validation. Support regional ORM and Compliance review and challenge of issue management process.
- Review and challenge of issues and corrective action plans in internal and external audit reports prior to report finalization. Agree sustainability and CAP artifacts to be sent to IA to support Issue closure. Ensure issues have senior ownership.
- Identifies and resolves problems using judgment.
- Assist with execution of key policies and procedures, including Operational Risk Management, Records Management, Continuity of Business and Third-Party Management, among others.
- Perform other risk and control activities as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar.
- Audit experience in an accounting or financial services firm.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience with regulatory reporting issues and issue remediation.
- Good understanding of financial products, businesses, reporting systems, internal audit processes.
- Knowledge of Issue/Corrective action policies and processes.
- Working with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of digital tools (e.g. Tableau, Knime, BOTs) desired.
- Advanced English required
