ResponsibilitiesExciting responsibilities awaiting you in this role include:
- Handling various tasks within the AR function such as Cash Collections, Query Resolution, Dunning, and Reporting.
- Managing collections and account reconciliation for customers. Analyzing past-due accounts and pursuing collections through phone calls, emails, and letters.
- Proactively following up on customer payments to ensure timely collection and preempting any issues that could lead to delays. Maintaining regular communication with customers to ensure on-time payment and uphold high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assisting in maintaining accurate customer master records while adhering to all internal controls and SOX policies.
- Aiding in resolving customer claims/issues by collaborating with appropriate internal departments, including Sales and Sales Operations.
- Participating in AR-related projects, including UAT and system testing, alongside teams in EMEA, APJ, and the US as the company continues to expand and evolve.
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- Foundational knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes, cash collection strategies, and enforcement of credit and collection policies and procedures. Practical experience in the collections field is essential.
- Capacity to work independently and collaborate effectively within the dynamic environment of an international business.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Keen eye for detail, adherence to deadlines, and a strong commitment to task completion.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to engage effectively with individuals at all levels within a customer's organization.
- Solution-oriented mindset and a positive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to prioritize tasks logically, strong organizational skills, and a track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication skills both internally and externally to establish enduring, successful relationships with customers.
- Demonstrated capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting, showcasing a willingness to advance professionally in order to support the present and future growth of ServiceNow.
- Focus on process enhancement and a drive to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and service delivery.
