Job Overview:

The Facilities Team at TE Connectivity oversees facilities and property management, office planning, corporate leasing, and real estate coordination. They collaborate closely with company and vendor representatives to manage major facility constructions, modifications, leasing, and real estate activities.

Requirements for Background:

Responsible for ensuring facility operations by managing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs for critical equipment and facilities that may jeopardize operations continuity. This includes overseeing various equipment such as compressed air, chillers, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, wastewater management, among others.

  • Supervise a team of Facilities Technicians to ensure they meet their daily objectives.
  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations of team members, offering feedback and guidance for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain training programs for new employees to ensure they are adequately trained and capable of performing their duties.
  • Regularly communicate with maintenance and facility management to provide updates on team performance and make recommendations for enhancement.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring all Technicians adhere to them.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance team productivity and reduce costs.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Facilities Supervisor
- Previous experience in supervisory or management roles in facility or equipment maintenance
- Proven experience in mechanical, electrical systems, refrigeration, plumbing, compressed air, HVAC, wastewater treatment, among others.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or Civil Engineering
