Product Owner
The Product Owner is independently motivated and will be responsible for keeping important Products and Projects moving forward. The person must be highly focused on accomplishing deliverables in a timely manner.

The person must be able to work across functions and communicate effectively with people in different positions and at various levels in the company.

This position will also be required to worked hours that overlap significantly with U.S. business hours.

Key Job Functions and Responsibilities of Product Owner:

  • Assume ownership of various 360training platforms (internal products). Act as an ambassador for the platform internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to the platform.
  • Plan, oversee and lead projects from ideation through to completion as required.
  • Collaborate with product management, product marketing, support, and sales to manage stakeholder' expectations and regularly update them on product progress and translate business requirements into user stories for development teams to implement.
  • Work closely with product and technology leadership to develop, own and execute platform roadmaps.
  • Work with product management and technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles.
  • Engage in backlog management, actively grooming and prioritizing the product backlog to ensure the team is working on the most valuable features.
  • Develop appropriately detailed user stories and other uptodate documentation for platform features to enable clear understanding by the development teams. Establish a feedback loop with development teams and endusers, gathering feedback in incorporate into future product interactions.
  • Participate in scrum calls with technology teams to answer questions related to business requirements.
  • Work in an Agile environment and continuously review business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Evaluate and validate the effort estimates for features and user stories with technology teams.
  • Work together with business and technical teams to collect and classify defects, prioritize appropriately, and ensure expected functionality is fully understood.
  • Capture and report on detailed operational metrics that can be used as a management tool to predict future results and to assess the success of platform deliverables.
  • Work proactively to predict and minimize potential issues before they arise.
  • Conduct workshops or training sessions for teams, stakeholders, or users regarding new product features or updates.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Three (3) years or more of experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or Business Manager.
  • High degree of both technical expertise and business acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across organizational teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to influence crossfunctional teams without formal authority.
  • Familiarity with product development tools including Trello, Jira, and Confluence (Atlassian).
  • Proactive, selfstarter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in eLearning industry preferred.
  • Experience with SAAS platform a plus.
  • Ability to work successfully via phone and video.
