The Impact You'll Make in this Role


As a Corporate Auditor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

You will gain a broad knowledge of 3M's processes, functions, and businesses through audits of subsidiaries, service centers, plants, acquisitions, and critical business processes.


Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Conducting and leading audits of moderate to high risk and complexity to ensure the accuracy of financial statements, adequacy of operational and internal controls, and identification of administrative efficiencies that will lead to savings in financial resources and time.
  • Participating in audit scoping activities and risk assessment.
  • Interviewing management to understand and identify gaps in controls or operational improvements.
  • Analyzing data and selecting samples for testing processes.
  • Documenting and summarizing audit findings and developing recommendations for process improvement.
  • Communicating audit findings both orally and in written form to management.
Your Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university/college in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of combined experience working in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Experience working in an internal audit function or Big 4 audit experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with businesslevel fluency in English.
Additional qualifications that may help you succeed in this role include:

  • Professional accounting certifications, including the CIA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent local certification.
  • Comprehensive analytical, prioritization and problemsolving abilities.
  • Working knowledge of statistical sampling methodologies.
  • Experience working with SAP

May include up to 20% domestic/international
