We are recruiting an Associate Internal Auditor to join our global Internal Audit Department.

The Associate Auditor role is expected to perform a full range of audits and investigations, including financial, SOX compliance and operational audits of Kimberly-Clark Corporation.

About You:

Main responsibilities:

This dynamic position requires working with personnel across all functions of Kimberly-Clark and at all levels of responsibility.

As an Associate Internal Auditor, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping our stakeholders solve their complex financial control issues from strategy to execution.


Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Executes audit activities and project roles under direction of lead auditors.
  • Exercises initiative and judgment in executing audit procedures.
  • Contributes to risk assessments with supervision / guidance.
  • Demonstrates basic project management skills regarding engagement notification, task assignments and monitoring, interim performance evaluation, and time management.
  • Recognizes issues, problems or opportunities and determines whether action is needed.
  • Provides clear, sufficient and wellwritten evidence to support work, issues and recommendations.
  • Cultivates positive relationships with stakeholders and proactively builds effective working relationships with employees.
  • Identifies and recommends improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audit processes such as test approaches and tools to use during the course of testing.
  • Proactively seeks and embraces formal and informal peer and upward coaching opportunities.

Experience and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a major or minor in Accounting or related field.
  • 2+ years of public accounting and/or private industry audit experience with knowledge of accounting and internal control areas.
  • Fluent in the English language.
  • Intermmediate-Advanced Excel Skill.
  • Selfmotivated with ability to work independently. Demonstrates initiative, innovation and drive for results. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Have excellent followup and followthrough skills
  • Handles difficult situations with diplomacy and tact and uses indirect influence to build consensus and support.
  • Dedication to team work and leadership.
  • Integrity within professional environment.
  • Communicates professionally in all forms, with the ability to effectively present to peers and management.
