Job Description Team**
Role
We are seeking an engineer to execute platform administration responsibilities.

The primary objectives of this position are supporting internal stakeholders troubleshooting issues, providing training, and fulfilling requests all while maintaining a high level of service, collaboration, and promoting continuous improvement.

This person will also work on upgrades, deployments, security finding/vulnerability remediation, project planning and governance of sub-production environments.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Develops procedures and scripts for monitoring and automation of manual processes.
  • Engage with product engineering and support teams to troubleshoot issues and any planned activities
  • Maintain system documentation for configuration and troubleshooting of known issues.
  • Develop and share best practices for Admin operations and enhancements based on lessons learned
  • Participate in activities outside of core hours and on weekends when required including participating in oncall coverage for the team.

Qualifications Requirements**:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 3+ years of IT industry experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage expectations in a fastpaced environment with competing priorities.
  • ServiceNow platform administration experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting/administering other enterprise platforms and technologies is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript libraries, Web services, SOAP, Java, SQL, and LINUX
  • Good understanding of ITIL framework or experience working in an ITILbased environment
