Fixed Asset Analyst Intern, this role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:

  • Ensure that the fixed assets are properly accounted by monitoring the end-to-end process including classification, useful life, acquisitions, transfers, depreciation, disposals, and reporting.
  • Prepare monthly rollforward reports. Record fixed asset acquisitions, master data changes and disposals each month.
  • Leads complex accounting analysis and auditing for assigned area of responsibility.
  • Prepares appropriate commentary or explanations relating to report items of particular interest or significance. Conducts any investigations of the accounts involved.
  • Recommends to management the actions to be take.
  • Ensures that systems and procedures comply with the company policies, acceptable accounting practices, and applicable regulations.
  • Serves as an internal resource to colleagues and assists in their development and training. Performs other duties and assist or lead with projects as needed and provide support to other R2R (Record to Report) roles according with the organization need.
  • Assist with the preparation of several reports related to Free Trade Zone

Your qualifications:

  • Active student in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related careers.
  • Intermediate to advance English proficiency is required.
  • Knowledge of Finance Shared Services and operational accounting processes and related technology systems (SAP, etc.) is a PLUS.
  • Good analytical decisionmaking, and problemsolving skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting concepts.
  • Ability to work as a team and good communication skills.
  • Proactivity skills in a work environment.
