DHL Finance and HR Services Americas, a division of Deutsche Post DHL Global Business Services, is providing an opportunity for a highly motivated professional within a multi-cultural shared service environment.

This role is based in the Shared Service Center (SSC), in Costa Rica.

Purpose of role
DHL is hiring a Compensation and Benefits Manager to join its Heredia, Costa Rica team.


Responsible for ensuring that our customers receive adequate solutions by creating, implementing, and adequately administrative strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices in all matters related to C&B in CCA.

Designs, implements, and administers employee and executive compensation programs including job evaluation, base pay delivery, short
- and long-term incentive programs, sales compensation, and other reward and recognition programs. Ensures compensation programs are aligned with DHL's compensation philosophy and overall talent strategy. Redefinition of the Benefits Portfolio.


Oversees alignment of employee pay levels with the external and internal value of the job as well as employee performance.

Maintains compliance with all legal requirements of various pay programs. Employee Services Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze proposed salaries in job requests, aiming to establish the correct Job titles of new employees according to the market.
Responsible for ensuring the execution of processes related to:

  • Salary review
  • MIP Bonus
  • Benefits Administration (Life insurance, Medical plans, pension plans, etc)
  • RCS Grading
  • Staff Cost Budget
  • Job Description
  • Relocation (Offer letters, Salary analysis)
  • Lead the C&B Team insuring the results of the project
  • Redefinition of benefits portfolio/ Control and generate efficiencies in the management of employee services in the organization
  • May direct major projects or programs with significant business impact within department, area, and business unit
  • Errors in judgment or failure to achieve objectives would result in significant program delays and sizeable expenditure of resources to rectify
  • Performs leadingedge professionallevel work
  • Requires creative and innovative thinking in bringing successful resolution to highimpact, complex, and/or crossdepartment problems
  • Operates with considerable latitude. May develop solutions to nonroutine issues, without appreciable guidance from others
  • Reaches decisions under conditions of uncertainty "

Required
- "Experience of at least 5 years in administrating C&B for business with International scope.

  • At least 6+ years of experience focused on developing and scaling programs.
  • At least 6+ years of experience in benefits design and administration.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of various types of compensation and benefits plans, including those with bonus and an equity component
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to manage and interpret complex data, drawing out key issues and themes and producing high quality, accurate management information
  • Professional certification required in some areas
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Seasoned professional. Concerned with problems that have a direct and important effect on business programs and results. Serves as consultant to management on major matters pertaining to policies, plans, and objectives
