About the Role

Workday is seeking a Sr Manager, Revenue & Variable Compensation to establish a new team in Costa Rica focused on reviewing and ensuring accuracy of information used to calculate variable sales compensation, reporting & analytics, and running variable compensation adjustment processes. This role will lead the Revenue and Variable Compensation team and assist in the day-to-day management activities at the Costa Rica site.

Responsibilities:

Revenue & Variable Compensation

Establish and develop a high performing team of Revenue & Variable Compensation professionals at both the manager and individual contributor levels Hire and develop talent Manage a team with mix of IC's and a Manager Manage SLAs and report on performance on regular basis Collaborate with key stakeholders such as Deal Management and Finance teams Identify process and system improvement areas and work with relevant stakeholders to drive change Lead enhancements and stabilize input validation processes Engage and manage the Field inquiry adjustment processes, including reviewing case requests and implementing an escalation process to manage higher risk adjustments

Site Leadership

Real Estate/Workplace Services: ensure the office and working environment is safe, comfortable and conducive to effective working and collaboration so people are motivated to visit the office regularly IT requirements: ensuring infrastructure, peripherals (keyboards, mice, monitors), printers and virtual meeting technology are available and reliable Represent the best interests of the employees of Workday Costa Rica in areas related to employee welfare, including organizing local team building and morale-boosting events and activities, to ensure general camaraderie, employee engagement and satisfaction. Build the local brand for Workday as a marquee employer of choice. This would entail working with P&P, Employee Communications, Talent Acquisition and other groups and could entail attending local events related to hiring and recruiting at educational institutions and other organizations Promote the company's work in building and fostering a diverse workforce and inclusive working environment that allows everyone to bring their authentic selves to Workday and do the best work of their lives Promote the growth of Workday Costa Rica with internal functions by highlighting and promoting the skills, talent, accomplishments, and potential of the employees. This will include meeting with various functions to address questions and support establishing additional presence.

Workday está buscando un gerente sénior de Ingresos y Compensación Variable para establecer un nuevo equipo en Costa Rica que se enfoque en revisar y asegurar la precisión de la información utilizada a fin de calcular la compensación variable de ventas, la generación de informes y la analítica, y ejecutar los procesos de ajuste de la compensación variable. Esta función dirigirá al equipo de Ingresos y Compensación Variable y colaborará en las actividades diarias de gestión en la sede de Costa Rica.

Responsabilidades:

Ingresos y Compensación Variable

Establecer y desarrollar un equipo de alto rendimiento de profesionales de Ingresos y Compensación Variable, tanto a nivel gerencial como de colaboradores individuales. Contratar y desarrollar talentos. Gestionar un equipo compuesto por supervisores y un gerente. Gestionar los acuerdos de nivel de servicio e informar periódicamente sobre los resultados. Colaborar con las principales partes interesadas, como los equipos de Gestión de Acuerdos y Finanzas. Identificar áreas de mejora de procesos y sistemas, y trabajar con las partes interesadas pertinentes para impulsar el cambio. Dirigir las mejoras y estabilizar los procesos de validación de aportes. Participar en los procesos de ajuste de la investigación en campo y gestionarlos, incluida la revisión de las solicitudes de casos y la aplicación de un proceso de escalamiento para gestionar los ajustes de mayor riesgo.

About You

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of experience within Revenue, Variable Compensation or other related function 5+ years of managerial / leadership experience 5+ years of experience leading a dotted-line reporting team providing global support Bilingual in Spanish and English

Other Qualifications

Motivational leader with a strong track record to build, develop, train, and coach accounting professionals Experience in B2B software or SAAS industry Experience in a Sales or Marketing Operations /Analytics function preferred Experience with Salesforce Experience with SPM systems (e.g., Xactly) SOX and Audit compliance experience Excellent collaboration, executive presence, and storytelling skills Experience working with SLAs

Cualificaciones básicas

10 años o más de experiencia en ingresos, compensación variable u otra función relacionada. 5 años o más de experiencia en gestión/liderazgo. 5 años o más de experiencia dirigiendo un equipo que reporte a superiores jerárquicos indirectos y que proporcione apoyo global. Bilingüe en español e inglés.

Líder motivador con una sólida trayectoria en la creación, desarrollo, formación y acompañamiento de los profesionales contables. Experiencia con software B2B o en la industria de SAAS. Preferentemente, con experiencia en una función de operaciones/analítica de ventas o marketing. Experiencia en Salesforce. Experiencia con los sistemas SPM (p. ej.: Xactly). Experiencia en el cumplimiento de la ley Sarbanes–Oxley y auditorías. Excelente colaboración, presencia ejecutiva y habilidades para narrar historias. Experiencia trabajando con acuerdos de nivel de servicio.
