Job Description

The Business Data Performance Analyst is a key player supporting fraud management efforts. This role demands expertise in data analysis, manipulation, and reporting. Seeking a candidate skilled in Excel and SQL, capable of converting raw data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze vast datasets to spot trends, patterns, and anomalies in fraud detection and prevention.
  • Build and manage detailed reports and dashboards to track business performance and fraud metrics.
  • Use SQL to retrieve relevant data for analysis from databases.
  • Employ Excel for data manipulation, complex calculations, and creating insightful visualizations.
  • Collaborate with teams to grasp business needs and translate them into data-driven strategies.
  • Aid in developing and applying data models, algorithms, and statistical methods for detecting fraudulent activities.
  • Offer insights and suggestions based on data analysis to enhance decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Keep updated with industry trends and top practices in data analysis and fraud management.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • Background as a Data Analyst, specifically in fraud management or a similar sector.
  • Strong Excel proficiency, including advanced functions, power query features, and visualization tools.
  • Competence in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Good understanding of system capabilities, software platforms, and processes.
  • Prior knowledge of database management concepts and principles.
  • Proficiency in PC office software and segmentation tools.
  • Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R.
  • Understanding of fraud detection techniques and best practices.
  • Experience with ETL processes and tools.
