We are looking for a Planning & Forecasting Lead with strong leadership skills and finance acumen to lead Planning & Forecasting analysts, build capabilities and deliver exceptional planning and forecasting support to in-market Finance teams.


Success in the role requires the ability to think critically, and influence and positively challenge key stakeholders at all levels.

You will be instrumental in producing robust forecasts, insightful management information, and proactively identifying opportunities, and securing return on investments.


_ Your Responsibilities_:
This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:

  • Support Business Partners in the development, alignment, and communication of the 5-year long range forecast, plan & rolling forecasts
  • Coordinate, supervise, and consolidate financial forecasts
  • Responsible for the core commercial cycle
  • Work with the Close & Control team to ensure accuracy of financial results and support financial compliance and financial risk management
  • Understand variances between actuals and plans. Provide insightful intelligence on business performance drivers, identify risks, and propose interventions to meet targets. Challenge the business to produce stretching yet achievable forecasts
  • Preparing internal management reports and support decision making. Be the point of contact for questions on reports
  • Perform financial modelling/appraisal & build business cases, for example trend analysis / return on investment / forecast building. Distil outputs and provide a clear summary to in market Finance teams.
  • Navigate the crossfunctional matrix and form an internal network to provide intelligence and gather information disseminated across the different areas. Work closely with inmarket Finance teams and the Close and Control hub
  • Jointly sign off plan and management results with the Finance Director
  • Support requests from Corporate Finance teams

_Basic Qualifications:
_ We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree completed
  • 5+ years of experience in Planning and Forecasting roles
  • Advanced English
  • Advanced Excel
  • Ability to connect with and influence business stakeholders
  • Strong skills in modelling, analysis, forecasting, strategic/scenario planning, decision making
  • Understanding of financial systems and processes

_ Preferred Qualifications:
_

  • Degree in Finance or Business (or equivalent)
  • Experience in pharma industry
  • Power BI / Bison
