Job Description:

Goal of the position:


The main objective of the Customer Incentive Plan (CIP) Senior Analyst is support Customer Operations with reporting and analytics expertise.

This person, will have the opportunity to tap into curiosity and collaborate with counterparts in Business Groups, Finance, and Enterprise Customer Operations.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging problem-solving and critical thinking skills to ensure processes are well-defined and meet the intended objective.
  • Performing data analytics to monitor and assess monthly rebate and assess monthly rebate accrual results for accuracy.
  • Leading accrual meetings with all appropriate reports, slides, and notes.
  • Suggesting areas of improvement for market development fund (MDF) and rebate issues and coordinating the implementation of those improvements.
  • Reviewing MDF claims and ensuring financial accuracy and adherence to 3M Global Financial Standards.
  • May include coordination of various activities relevant for processes, including responding to general business and process related questions or issues.
  • Create, analyze, and prepare REC296 SOX compliance report.
  • Investigate, enter tickets, or confer with analysts, by Sales District for GL Reconciliation.
  • Develop projects assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Backup report preparation for TEBG customers.
  • Monitor the queue and confer with analysts on change requests.
  • Ability to manage deadlines effectively to ensure metrics are being accomplished.
  • Continuous improvement of processes and Lean Six Sigma project participation.
  • Participate in deployment of new systems including all necessary testing activities depending on process supported.
  • Act according to 3M regulation and policies.
  • Other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, and/or Finance discipline or three (3) combined years of experience in Business, Accounting and/or Finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP. Knowledge of Vistex is a plus.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Creative problem solving ability to work with diverse functional teams to evaluate and address key issues.
  • Risk management analysis skills.
  • Selfstarter with ability to drive change.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • PowerBI, Macros.
