WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a Research Associate within BCG's Data and Research Service (DRS) function, you will form an integral part of our Costa Rica DRS team.
Through the delivery of secondary research, you will contribute to BCG's client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases and business or internal development initiatives, with a special focus on Logistics, Freight, Construction, Real State topics.
You will be responsible for delivering on variety of requests through the day by clearly synthesizing, packaging, articulating, and delivering your findings in a timely and accurate manner.

Working closely with more senior team members, you will engage with our Consulting and Knowledge Teams daily with the aim to understand, scope and deliver accurate, timely and relevant data and information.
- You're a highly organized thinker who commits to learning research analysis including: methods, databases and tools, synthesis & packaging.
- You have strong attention to detail by clarifying request objectives under direct supervision and discussing the most appropriate and timely research approach. You will do this whilst communicating directly with BCG stakeholders to evaluate and recommend the most efficient and successful research strategy per project.
- Working closely with fellow DRS colleagues, you will approach all interactions with the highest level of quality and customer service. You will also guide outsourcing partners in their research analysis and do quality assurance.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS):
- Undergraduate degree minimum (a "Bachillerato" degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Engineering, Accounting, Business Management, Technology etc.)
- Interest and/or personal knowledge in topics around Logistics, Freight, Construction, Real State topics, etc.
- 02 years relevant working experience
- Excellent English; verbal and written.
- Ability to work with wide array of platforms including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; to be able to provide insights in most userfriendly format.

DRS works with both qualitative and quantitative data, conducting research and providing synthesized results from over 100 commercial sources, publicly available data, company and industry research, macro-economic, commodities and trade data.
