Amazon Finance & Global Business Services (FGBS) plays a crucial role in the company's mission to become Earth's most customer-centric organization.

FGBS encompasses finance functions such as Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Tax, as well as other functions like Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF), Investor Relations, and Benchmarking.

The SJO operation seeks a proactive, innovative problem solver to join as an Accounts Payable – Finance Communications Analyst.

As an Accounts Payable – Finance Communications Analyst, you will handle vendor impacting issues, escalations management, critical vendors handling, and root cause analysis to ensure smart, timely resolutions.

The ideal candidate will possess experience as an Accounts Payable Analyst, understanding end-to-end AP processes in a dynamic company.

The candidate should have a keen interest in research, process improvement, and client interactions, with the ability to share knowledge and lead with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Understanding how AP operations impact the general ledger, along with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, will be key characteristics of the applicant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle responsibilities within Finance Communications, including customer troubleshooting, critical vendor management, and escalations management.
  • Utilize internal resources effectively while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Address vendor inquiries and concerns promptly and accurately, maintaining high standards of controllership.
  • Ensure adherence to process and policies, including Amazon guidelines, local legislation, and vendor contracts.
  • Focus on controllership by identifying opportunities for internal control enhancement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of experience in finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com)
