Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Onboarding Experience Designer, you will play a key role in shaping and enhancing the onboarding journey for our new IBMers globally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that ensure a seamless and engaging experience for new hires around the globe.

Your main responsibilities will be leading and coordinating other designers on Change Management, create and deploy communications to onboarding experience users and ensure the Onboarding platforms are in accordance to IBM brand. In more details:

  • Lead the design of the new visual identity and brand guidelines for IBM's Onboarding Global Offering: Start at IBM.

  • Ideate and conceptualize brand elements, including verbiage creation for communications and brand identity design.

  • Design content such as checklists and website materials for the Onboarding experience.

  • Own the global communications strategy for the Onboarding Global Offering, ensuring consistent messaging and brand representation, deploying communications updates as needed.

  • Collaborate to develop tailored change management strategies to enhance Onboarding Projects

  • Provide stakeholder enablement on updates and changes to the onboarding process.

  • Configure paperwork in Adobe Acrobat Sign and manage enablement creation and recording for stakeholders.

  • Design end-to-end onboarding experiences, including journey maps and process flows.

  • Manage projects related to onboarding experience design, including timelines, resources, and deliverables.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

The ideal candidate for the role of Onboarding Experience Designer at IBM should possess proficiency in the following tools and platforms:

  • Fluent level of English

  • Experimentative - working quickly to pilot, succeed/fail fast and scale what works globally

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.

  • Knowledge on Adobe Suite Tools (Adobe illustrator, Adobe Premiere, etc).

  • Mural for collaborative design and ideation sessions

  • Monday.com for project management and task tracking

Experience with these tools will be essential for effectively executing the responsibilities of this role and contributing to the success of our Onboarding Global Offering.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Project Management

  • Prior experience in Brand Identity Design and Conceptualization.
