Associate, AML Compliance (Government Sanctions and Interdiction) – Santa Ana, Costa Rica

In this role, you will become a member of our Government Sanctions and Interdiction (GSI) department where you will be responsible for providing support on our AML Compliance programs. Work is likely to be a mix of both on-line and off-line duties.

Role Responsibilities

Performing money transfer management and information verification. Conducting investigations and making decisions following AML procedures. Handling Customer or Agent inquiries received over the phone or email. Helping the business look at ways of improving its customer experience and making recommendations on any process improvements.

Role Requirements

High school degree required; College/University degree is a plus. Fluency in English with outstanding verbal, written and listening skills is mandatory. Other languages will be considered a plus. Good analytical skills. Independent decision-making skills with high attention to detail. Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems at the same time. Computer literacy. Willingness to work in rotating shifts (including weekends and holidays), according to business needs. Experience in Customer Service and/or AML Compliance field would be an advantage.

Salary

The monthly gross base salary range is 1041 - 1783 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
