Job Description:

As a Jr. Global Instructional Designer , you will be responsible for designing and developing a wide range of learning solutions, both internally and externally for the Safety & Industrial Business Group (SIBG) marketing community and customers. You will also partner with our Division and Area teams to ensure the creation of engaging and effective customer education aligned to go-to-market models. Internally, your focus will be on creating learning solutions to upscale marketing skills and competencies for our SIBG marketing community.

You will have the opportunity to tap into your creativity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Developing on demand, virtual and instructor-led courses, videos, simulations, tests and certifications, and related online reference materials to internal teams and/or customers based on project and deliverable guidelines. Creating outlines, storyboards, lesson plans, videos and/or scripts, using the latest technologies and tools, based on project deliverables. Create regional and area localized versions of courses from global content (coordinate with country and regional stakeholders). Aligning content to confirm workability with respect to adult learning principles, considering stakeholder, 3M brand, copyright, and legal and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Experience in course development for classroom or online students. Bachelor's degree or higher with experience in Software developer, Project Manager, Curriculum Development or related career from an accredited university. Advance English level B2+ Familiarity with industry standard development tools is a big plus. This includes: Adobe Suite, Articulate, Microsoft Office and HTML (coding)

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Strong foundation in and ability to apply adult learning concepts, hands-on learning practices, and objectives-based instructional approaches. Instructional development skills, with experience creating one or more of the following: Interactive courses using Articulate 360 Production of professional audio, voiceovers, graphics and video; Other forms of virtual and live training materials, including: student and facilitator materials, web/html content, simulations, guides, quick references, slicks, manuals, online help and other digital resources Ability to complete tasks and projects independently and according to specified deliverables and timelines.
