The medical copy and content team within the Global Digital Hub operates under the Content Creation Chapter. This specialized team focuses on generating commercial content intended for various digital formats (emails, videos, banners, infographics, websites, etc.). Their work plays a crucial role in supporting the communication strategies developed by Roche's global and local business teams. The Opportunity:
- Review, edit, and fact-check high-quality medical content for multiple formats, digital channels, and platforms (e.g., patient information; HCP education materials such as slides/posters/speaker briefs/presentations; newsletters; medical reports/study summaries; and PR materials), ensuring accuracy, appropriate tone, clarity, conciseness, and engagement for the target audience.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with Roche best practices, brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, applicable industry guidelines, and SOPs and are optimized for search engines and digital marketing best practices, while staying up-to-date with trends in medical writing and digital marketing.
- Collaborate closely with writers, subject matter experts, marketing teams, and business partners to understand content objectives, provide constructive feedback and guidance, and support writers’ professional development to consistently improve content quality.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines across various therapeutic areas, monitoring assigned tasks and workload, maintaining meticulous attention to detail, taking ownership, and proactively anticipating capacity issues and proposing solutions.
- Quickly and effectively engage resources via formal and informal networks to meet goals, work closely with business partners, and make recommendations to improve service levels and responsiveness to business needs. Who you are:
- Upbeat, dynamic editor with 2–4 years’ experience in a similar role, full (native-level) English proficiency, excellent attention to detail, consistency and clarity, and a strong passion for writing, language, and (ideally) pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences topics.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, life sciences, or a related discipline (Master's is a plus), with proven experience editing and proofreading for accuracy, consistency, brand adherence, and familiarity with medical terminology, scientific research, and healthcare/pharma regulatory guidelines (advantageous).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics (content creation, SEO, social media, and email marketing), with proficiency or interest in CMS and digital marketing tools, standard IT applications (preferably Google Workspace), and a quick-learning, technology-friendly mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in giving and receiving critical feedback, with a customer-service mentality, can‑do attitude, continuous improvement and growth mindset, and an accountable, focused, and precise working style.
- Strong project and time management skills, able to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment; working collaboratively with cross-functional and diverse teams (writers, SMEs, marketing, regulatory, and business stakeholders) and engaging effectively with leaders. Please note: Resumesmust be submitted in English, as our interview panel may include participants from outside your local country. #LI-DC1 Wer wir sind Eine gesündere Zukunft treibt uns zur Innovation an.
