AMS B2C Data Mining Analyst

As part of the Business-to-Consumer Fraud team, this role will report directly to the Fraud Prevention Manager. Trust and Privacy organization provides world-class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional Shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation.

We provide accurate and timely financial information meeting the Company's regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities with unwavering integrity.

This is a leadership role within the AMS B2C Team, with primary focus on fraud investigations. Investigations Analyst will mitigate risk and loss to HP by investigating and monitoring existing and potential fraudulent situations within HP financial payment transactions.

Responsibilities

· Perform sophisticated data analysis, using software to identify potential credit card fraud.

· Employs specialized skills and tools to analyse orders for key fraud indicators and to identify fraud trends.

· Primary point of contact for Fraud Analysts and HP Business unit partners suspecting suspicious activity involving credit card fraud.

· Prepares timely, thorough, and concise written reports of investigations to Senior Management, DSRA and Fraud Analysts

· Updates DSRA team and Fraud Analysts on fraud trends and provide direction for adjusting procedures to combat fraud attacks.

Qualifications

· University degree required or comparable experience.

· Broad knowledge of fulfilment systems and business order flow.

· Advanced skills required with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other primary Office applications.

· Expert knowledge in contacting and engaging shipping carriers to reroute fraud packages.

· Self-starter, initiative, creative thinking and real-world achievement are highly coveted attributes for successful candidate.

· Very Fluent English (90%+) (oral and written).

· Ability to work flexible hours including overtime as required.

· Demonstrates ability to perform independently.

· Perform within high stress situations and respond with urgency.

· Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
