This role sits within the Haleon Business Services (HBS) team. You'll be joining a growing team that plays a critical role in helping Haleon become more agile and performance-focused, by simplifying our processes, leading digital enablement across the business and building capabilities for the future.

The Finance Controller ensures financial integrity, compliance, and timely reporting to support decision-making across the region. This role acts as a strategic business partner, providing robust controls, insightful financial analysis, and driving continuous process improvement.

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and submission of local and corporate financial statements. Financial results for their MARKET/ENTITY with commentary including income, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with tax and accounting regulations (IFRS and local standards).
• Coordinate & prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Analyse variances against forecasted/previous scenarios and propose corrective actions.
• Preform/Review internal controls and ensure financial risk mitigation.
• Manage internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation. Collaborate with regional and global teams to standardize processes.
• Optimize accounting and financial processes using digital tools (Power BI, SAP, AO, etc.).
• Support strategic and financial transformation projects in the region.

Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

•    Accounting/Finance or Business Administration degree or qualification

•    Finance controlling experience (min.5 years)

•    Experience of working with SOX  

•    Experience of working with SAP

•    Fluent/Advance English

•    Excellent communication and organization skills

•    Developed analytical skills

•    Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills
