About the role
As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for market expansion, solution/new business development, and customer relationship management (CRM) strategy development, process development, implementation and execution of strategies and processes. The Business Development Manager will support the Market Expansion, Solution/Business Development & CRM activities.
What you'll do
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively targeting potential clients, industries, and market segments that align with our service offerings.
Development and maintenance of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and / or process approach
Develop and manage processes for all phases of the Business Development Life Cycle, including leading and responding to RFI & RFP's
Development, review and refinement of client proposals / Statements of Work (SOW)
Development of new opportunities through new customer search and identification
Development of the value proposition(s) for introduction, presentation and closing of business opportunities
Support the development of new consulting solution products and services as well as expanding our current product & service offering.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and seize growth opportunities.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their specific needs and aligning our services to add value and drive customer satisfaction.
What you will bring
A bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field
Minimum of 5 years of business development experience in the Regulatory/Quality/Engineering consulting services, or related industry, serving Life Science industry
Strong strategic and problem-solving mindset, preferably in the Medical Device space, with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals
Proven understanding of the medical device manufacturing industry: products, players, technologies, and regulations
Demonstrated successful experience selling solutions and technical services to Medical Device manufacturers including C-suite.
Polished, articulate, and possess advanced verbal/written communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently to demonstrate clear and measured sales growth progress.
Ability to lead the development and delivery of compelling proposals and presentations to showcase the company's capabilities and value proposition.
Bilingual English and Spanish.
