The Opportunity:

As the M&A Integration Manager, Finance within the Roche Services & Solutions (RSS) BPM Finance division, you will occupy a high-visibility leadership role at the intersection of corporate strategy and operational excellence. You will serve as the primary Finance representative within the Pharma Integration Office, acting as a lead advisor to M&A, Legal, and Procurement teams during the most critical phases of business expansion.

Your mission is to lead the end-to-end finance integration of acquired entities into the Roche ERP ecosystem (ASPIRE) and the RSS Operating Model. This role requires a balance of technical financial expertise and senior-level leadership judgment to manage complex organizational restructuring and ensure seamless business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Due Diligence & Strategic Advisory: Lead rapid "as-is" assessments of target companies. Identify gaps in financial processes, assess legal entity structures, and define integration strategies that align with Roche global standards.

• Integration Execution & Project Leadership: Own the full project lifecycle for finance integration. This includes overseeing data migration, system testing, and site readiness to move entities from legacy systems into SAP/ASPIRE.

• Playbook Development: Design, document, and continuously refine a standardized, scalable Finance M&A integration methodology. You will be responsible for creating the repeatable "playbook" used for all future global integrations.

• Organizational Design & People Leadership: Partner with P&C (HR) to advise on finance organizational design and staffing. You will manage the sensitive "people" element of integrations, fostering trust with newly acquired teams and managing restructuring with empathy and Roche values.

• Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the central Finance liaison for cross-functional partners (Legal, Procurement, SHE, and IT) to ensure a holistic approach to every acquisition.

• Risk & Compliance Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to financial reporting, internal controls, and data integrity during the transition phase.

Who You Are

• Experienced Finance Leader: You bring 7–10 years of broad finance experience (Accounting, Tax, and Controlling) with a proven track record in M&A due diligence, post-merger integration, or large-scale transformation initiatives.

• Education: Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ERP environments, specifically SAP, and experience navigating decentralized financial systems.

• Strategic Influencer: You possess the exceptional ability to influence without direct authority and can build consensus across complex, global, cross-functional teams.

• Resilient & Proactive: You thrive in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments. You are a self-directed leader who takes full ownership of outcomes and makes sound decisions even with incomplete information.

• Effective Communicator: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English are essential; you can translate complex financial transitions into clear executive-level status reports.
