Indirect Procurement Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Development
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the procurement operations team, ensuring clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.
• Set performance goals, conduct regular feedback sessions, and support professional growth through training and coaching.
• Operational Oversight
• Oversee the preparation, issuance, and maintenance of purchase orders (POs) and goods receipt postings, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of PO creation, changes, and receipt postings, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Process Improvement & Compliance
• Lead initiatives to streamline procurement processes, drive simplification, and implement automation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Support and coordinate internal audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
• Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary liaison between the procurement team, IT, internal project teams, and business segments.
• Foster a customer service-oriented culture, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.
• Issue Resolution & Root Cause Analysis
• Oversee the tracking and resolution of open IT and procurement requests, ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
• Facilitate root cause analysis for recurring issues and share learnings with the team to prevent future occurrences.
• Reporting & Data Management
• Ensure the creation and maintenance of accurate reports and help desk dashboards to monitor procurement activities and team performance.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Change Management & Project Support
• Support management in the rollout of new systems, processes, and best practices.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring procurement requirements are represented and met.
• Risk Management
• Identify potential risks in procurement operations and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure business continuity by maintaining robust backup and contingency plan.

Experience and skills:

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working in procurement or similar role.

• 2 years of experience in Supervisory roles

  
  
• Strong working knowledge of the procurement to payment process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel with strong aptitude towards learning new technology.
• Strong Ariba experience.
• Excell advanced
• Strong SAP experience
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organization skills, analytical and problem-solving skills a plus.
  Self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.
