QAT Global, a 25+ years IT consulting firm based in the US, is seeking a highly-skilled
Sr. Cloud Native Developer
with the ability to communicate well in English. This position will work directly with the customer located in the US and with development teams in our US, Costa Rica, and Brazil locations.

  • This opportunity can be 100% remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain cloud-native applications using Azure services, microservices, containers, and event-driven messaging.
  • Author and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Write backend services and APIs using .NET Core / C#.
  • Define and manage infrastructure through Pulumi (IaC).
  • Work with Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, and Cosmos DB in production systems.
  • Integrate Confluent Kafka for real-time event streaming and processing.
  • Containerize applications (Docker, Kubernetes or orchestrators).
  • Collaborate with DevOps/platform teams to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud systems.
  • Provide performance tuning, capacity planning, and reliability enhancements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives) and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Continuously evaluate new Azure, container, or streaming capabilities and propose improvements.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET Core / C#.
  • Proven Azure cloud-native development experience, including: Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, provisioning/managing Azure resources, and Cosmos DB.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
  • Solid experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Experience with Confluent Kafka or equivalent event streaming platforms.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)—Pulumi preferred.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, deployment automation, and system reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in distributed/remote teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience or willingness to learn MuleSoft for API management.
  • Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design.
  • Experience with monitoring & observability tools (Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
  • Previous work in Agile / Scrum environments.
