Skills And Competencies

• Experience with Python language
• Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS S3 or Google Cloud buckets)
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux and file systems
• Understanding of engineering processes and agile principles
• Self-motivated, proactive problem-solver
• Clear communicator, able to document and share progress
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Preferred Experience:

• Managing Docker containers
• Working in remote Linux environments
• QA automation and regression/integration testing
• Experience with Databricks and software development

Education

• Pursuing a degree in Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, or a related subject
• Ideally one year ahead of graduation

Responsibilities

• Support the development and automation of DevOps pipelines for machine learning model training and deployment
• Work with team members to understand, test, and finetune machine learning models
• Improve and automate testing and finetuning procedures for ML workflows
• Manipulate data for model training and evaluation, including handling JSON formats
• Store and manage data in AWS S3 and Databricks environments
• Enhance the platform to support new tools and features
• Document and share progress using Confluence and JIRA tickets
• Prepare presentations and final reports on project outcomes
