We are seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager with a strategic mindset and strong operational execution to lead the finance function of a growing company. This person will be a key partner to the CEO, driving financial planning, accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. The role will also be critical in strengthening business intelligence and implementing data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities (Accounting-focused)

  • Define and execute the financial strategy, with a strong emphasis on accounting governance.
  • Oversee accounting operations in compliance with local regulations and international standards (IFRS).
  • Lead the monthly close process, including reconciliations, provisions, revenue recognition, and cost/expense controls.
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting (financial statements, balance sheet, cash flow) and variance analysis for key stakeholders.
  • Establish and improve accounting policies, internal controls, and documentation to ensure audit readiness.
  • Optimize financial processes, automation, and systems, including ERP improvements.
  • Coordinate budgets, forecasts, and performance analysis, connecting accounting outcomes to business planning (FP&A).
  • Manage treasury operations, cash flow planning, payments/collections, banking relationships, and financial risk exposure.
  • Enhance financial BI dashboards and KPI reporting to support non-financial teams with actionable insights.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in finance leadership roles with direct responsibility for accounting (Finance/Accounting/Controller).
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting close processes, internal controls, ERP systems, and financial modeling.
  • Ability to track and interpret key KPIs.
  • Experience in regulated environments, compliance, audits, and risk management.
  • Strong communication skills to translate financial insights for non-financial stakeholders and collaborate in multicultural settings.
