Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accounting Assistant based in Escazú, with the option to work from home on occasion. The Accounting Assistant will handle tasks including managing financial records, preparing financial statements, assisting with bookkeeping, and utilizing accounting software to record transactions. Additional responsibilities include supporting finance-related activities, reconciling accounts, and providing general support to the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Statements preparation
  • Experience working with various Accounting Software or tools
  • Strong understanding of Finance principles and practices
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to maintain accuracy in work
  • Bachelor's degree or progress toward a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset
