About the Team

The primary purpose of Workday Education is to build a great student and instructor experience globally by delivering engaging and innovative learning solutions to help customers, partners, and employees make the most of Workday’s unified solution. Our Content team is a critical first point of consultation and execution, rapidly understanding and evolving curriculum and learning offerings that take advantage of current learning and technology trends.

Workday Education Media Group (WEMG) works to enhance Workday Education initiatives through the creation of video and graphics, as well as internal communications to Workday teams and the greater Workday employee base.

About the Role

Lead a creative team and closely partner with the design and post-production team leadership to drive projects to completion with a high level of quality and attention to our Workday brand. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the team while also managing key projects and tasks to completion following detailed processes. This role requires a combination of strong leadership skills, clear and adaptable communication style, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of design and media production processes.

**Responsibilities**:
Team Leadership

o Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of media professionals, including: editors and designers.

o Partner with the WEMG leadership team to ensure consistent approach to project tasks and quality of results.

o Cultivate an inclusive team culture that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

o Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide regular feedback to support their professional development.

Project Management

o Coordinate project tasks, resource capacity, and status with our WEMG Senior Program Manager and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

o Partner with WEMG Senior Program Manager to allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.

o Lead the execution and delivery of project tasks ensuring they are completed on time, on brand, and to the highest quality standards.

o Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and adapt to changes in project scope or requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Resource Management

o Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, to support the successful execution of WEMG projects.

o Monitor resource utilization and find opportunities for optimization or reallocation to improve efficiency and productivity.

o Collaborate with the WEMG leadership team to onboard, and train new team members as needed to support project requirements.

Quality Assurance

o Establish and implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure that all content meets or exceeds quality expectations.

o Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of projects to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
