Our seasoned leadership and dedicated global team of more than 2,700 is focused on shaping an exciting future for ZimVie — we hope you’ll consider being a part of it **Job Summary**: Under the direction of a project leader and other graphic designer, responsible for creating and revising detail drawings using 3-Dimensional modeling tools. Responsible for the integrity of the computer-graphic product and process model databases. These models must be suitable for internal concurrent manufacture, CMM data extraction and vendor translation. **Principal Duties and Responsibilities**: - Works simultaneously with development, manufacturing, tool and process engineers to create complex 3-D surfaced or solid models of orthopaedic implants, provisionals and instrumentation. - Works simultaneously with process engineering and CNC programming to develop casting, forging and processing models and drawings. - Evaluates designs using anatomic data. - Manages a portion of the graphics maintenance workload. - Complies with existing procedures and standards to create product models and drawings that comply with Quality Systems Regulations. - This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all of the "essential functions" for purposes of the ADA._ **Expected Areas of Competence (i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities)** - Innovative in developing new designs. Develops patentable designs. - Assists with the development of processes and techniques that shorten development cycle times. - Adapts quickly to new technologies. - Manages special assignments and maintenance responsibilities effectively. Anticipates and minimizes conflicting deadlines. - experience creating solid models using Unigraphics software. - Capable of modifying existing Unigraphics models and drawings to ZCN requirements. **Education/Experience Requirements** - A two-year technical degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **Travel Requirements** ***Up to 5% ZimVie is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
