The Java Developer is essential to maintaining adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc. This role is responsible for creating and consuming REST, JSON-based APIs.

**What you’ll do**
- Solve unique and complex problems with a broad impact on the business
- Build large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
- Deploy and maintain Applications / Systems
- Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
- Working with product owners, UX, and other business partners to define work for the team
- Facilitating code reviews, code quality checks, testing, automation, etc. Ensure integrated end-to-end design.

**What experience you need**:

- 2+ years as a Java developer with experience in server-side frameworks for REST API (JAVA / Spring / Spring Security / Spring Cloud / Hibernate / Spring Boot Microservices) and knowledge of client-side JavaScript frameworks.
- 1+ years of experience working with Cloud environments (GCP or AWS)
- 1+ years of experience with databases (Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, or similar) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J, or similar)
- 1+ years of experience in Security principles (Encryption, Authentication/Authorization, JWT, Tokens, SAML, etc)
- Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher level BELT)

**What could set you apart**:

- DevOps experience
- Guide and mentor junior developers in developing code and workflow procedures, and conduct code reviews.
- Experience with API Frameworks
- Experience working with Agile methodologies
- Experience in UNIX or Linux (is a plus)
- Familiar with secure development best practices (is a plus)
