The global **Data Services** team is responsible for many run-the-bank and change-the-bank processes. We partner with Risk and Finance to understand their data requirements for regulatory and internal management reporting. We work with data provisioning point owners to ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting of data in the required standards. The team works on an end-to-end basis with various stakeholders to resolve data challenges by understanding root cause/thematic issues and executing solutions such as system replacements, adjustment reduction programs, data quality monitoring and resolution, as well as process design and implementation. As the business owner of GENESIS, the authorized provisioning point for contracts, positions, and balances, as it relates to Citi’s contractual Balance Sheet, Data Services provides over half of the data inputs into Finance and Risk reporting processes. We also run the operational activities of GENESIS, which includes data quality scorecard monitoring, change management, adjustment processing, and monitoring of data quality on a day-to-day basis. **Data Stewardship Support Intermediate Analyst** The Data Stewardship Support Intermediate Analyst will be part of Data Management team under Finance organization supporting GENESIS, a Citi proprietary data warehouse that provides an enterprise wide collection of contracts, positions and balances, which are anchored to financials. The intermediate analyst will work closely with other teams across Finance, Risk, Technology and FRSS organizations. **Responsibilities** - Implement and reinforce strong adherence to the standard operational, risk and control processes as it relates to GENESIS Data Quality Operating Model - Perform monthly trend analysis of GENESIS Data Quality exceptions - Review GENESIS Data Quality exceptions during month-end cycle and investigate root cause of new exceptions - Identify tactical remediation and coordinate with relevant stakeholders within limited timeframe to meet monthly KPI - Propose appropriate strategic solution and liaise with relevant groups to eliminate GENESIS data quality exceptions in the medium to long-term period - Follow through the delivery of strategic solution through proactive involvement and regular coordination with strategic solution owners, e.g. FRSS Implementation teams, IMR (Issue Management Resolution) owners, etc. - Manage and address data quality queries/issues on GENESIS production data through timely feedback to data users - Conduct second-level investigation on medium to complex data quality queries/issues on GENESIS production data and propose resolution path (both tactical and strategic) - Escalate timely to appropriate resolver groups, e.g. technology teams, if data investigation requires expertise outside of the team, and follow through accordingly **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience - 2-5 years relevant experience - Advanced English Required **Competencies**: - Professionalism/Work Ethic - Creative thinking - Problem solving - Self-awareness - Teamwork/Collaboration - Oral/Written communications - Career management **About Citi** Citi, the leading global bank, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 160 countries and jurisdictions.
